GIFT GUIDE: For the Host

You absolutely cannot forget your lovely hosts this season! Family or friends, it’s always a good idea to show up with something sweet and special for them. So much goes into hosting guests, I know even when I visit my parents or in-laws, they make sure to have everything we need and ask ahead of time of things they can get us to make our stay more comfortable and I think that is so special so I can’t show up empty handed. Rounded up a gift guide for your host(s)!

Starting off strong with my favorite kitchen candle, the Green Tomato Vine scented candle from Jo Malone. It smells so delicious and really livens up a kitchen space. Flamingo Estate also makes a Tomato scented candle that I’ve been dying to try but I had a sample of this Blackberry vinegar and it was so delicious. Perfect drizzled over figs and brie cheese. Serving ware is always a great idea as well as nice coffee! We can get into routines of just picking up a generic brand at the grocery store so its nice to bring over an extra special coffee to enjoy during the season. Wine is also always a good idea and organic wine from Avaline is so special. Before pregnancy I loved having their wine on hand for dinner parties, thankfully I’m almost at the end of my pregnancy so I’ll be able to enjoy wine again with my hosts.

Are you travling for the holidays or staying home!? We still are deciding what we want to do but whatever we decide, I’ll be ordering this delicious coffee or a gift basket to send to family even if we can’t make it home for the holidays.

GIFT GUIDE: The Luxury Edit

Well, another year has come around and it’s time for holiday shopping. I thought I would start off with a bang this year because I have done so little shopping this year for myself. We’ve been saving up for baby 2 (surprise if you didn’t see my announcement on IG, haha), and to potentially be purchasing a home once we retire from military life (fingers-crossed for the economy!).

So here is my first gift guide, the Luxury edit. It’s just like a dream list of things but also for those who are looking to go a little more luxurious this year or maybe as a push present ideas? *Cough-I-hope-my-husband-sees-this-cough.

GIORGIO BAGNARA Medium Bellini Tray / BANG AND OLUFSEN Gold Beoplay A9 Speaker / CLAUDE HOME Willow Bowl / CIRE TRUDON Ernesto Alabaster Candle / KHAITE Florence Striped Suede Tote Bag / BOTTEGA VENTA small bi-fold zip wallet / THE ROW Ravy Suede Booties / SOHO HOME Florenza Champagne Bowl, Green Marble / SPINELLI KILCOLlIN Venus YG / KHAITE Benny Leather Stud Belt

If you could receive absolutely anything this year, material-wise or not, what would it be? Money or time, no object! Let me know in the comments. I love helping everyone manifest their dream wishlist no matter how insane they might be!

Hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving and didn’t go too crazy with Cyber deals. I’m thinking I might still do a quick cyber roundup since so many brands have extended past the normal one-day sales. I think is such a great strategy so you can really shop around to find the best deals. Would you guys like it if I did a ‘Black Friday’ round-up? Let me know! I’ll be posting more gift guides in the coming days so stay tuned.
