FASHION: Phil Oh's Street Style #NYFW Edition

STREET STYLE HAS RETURNED!

Ooof, what a breath of fresh air. I feel like Paris Fashion Week was a blur so I’m focusing on the latest #NYFW. Have you been keeping up with the shows? I feel like I’ve been so uninspired by clothes and that very well could be because I don’t leave the house much and spend most my time crawling around picking up toys in sweatpants. So, I was a little jealous to see everyone out and about dressed up and putting their best foot forward. I’ll get there again, eventually? In the meantime - here are some of my favorite snaps.

Do you have a favorite street-style star? I always love to see the editors post show. Aimee Song is still one of my favorite OG bloggers and I always enjoy seeing what she wears. Missed so many people we normally see at shows but alas, the pandemic is still happening so I understand why people skipped out. Also, shoutout to everyone who still wore a mask because again….pandemic.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! I have some great posts coming up this week so make sure to stay tuned.

Xx

RUNWAY: Chanel Spring 2019 Ready-to-Wear

I’m trying to get back into the rhythm of blogging so I apologize for the lack of posts lately! Figured the best way to start again is by posting things that inspire me, which is a huge part of why I started this blog years ago!

I wanted to post some of my favorite looks for the recent Chanel Spring 2019 Runway Show. With 80+ looks, it was very hard to edit it down to these few below…

I loved the whole concept of the show on the beach which actual water and sand. Karl sure knows how to put on an amazing production for his shows! As always, the details in the Chanel collections are truly exquisite. I love the paired down looks with leggings and biker shorts yet they still look very put-together. The oversized tweed jackets are classic Chanel with an updated modern look. Great accessories with more clear bags and lucite shoes, which I’m happy are still ‘on trend’. My favorite part was definitely the double bags. I love the layering of a larger and smaller bag and how Lagerfeld connected some in the middle with the classic Chanel chain straps. So so good! Le sigh, one day I’ll own a Chanel piece….preferably from this collection!
